Our organization
Since 2020, Portugal Accountants provides integrated
tax,
accountancy,
and
company
formation
services to Portuguese-based clients as well as
foreign inward-investing companies and property owners.
We are physically based in Porto. However thanks to the
well-developed online system of
the Portuguese tax and mercantile bodies, we are able to manage the tax
and accountancy affairs of clients
throughout
the Portuguese mainland
and to islands.
With the help of our nationwide network of Portuguese Accountants, we
offer a coverage for proceedings where a
local
presence
is required.

Professional staff
Portugal Accountants was founded in 2020 by Paul Greene.
Paul qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant in 2000. Since 2003, he has
been a member of the
Asociación Profesional de Expertos Contables y
Tributarios de España
(AECE).
Using the same practice model as our Head Office Spain Accountants, we are now expanding our regular client base,
and after initially focussing on income tax for residents and non-residents only, we now offer services
such as Portuguese VAT registration, Fiscal Representation and compliance for foreign individuals and companies.
Our team in Portugal is managed by Carla Neves, a Portuguese Senior Accountant with more than 15 years of experience in Multinational Companies and with clients throughout the whole of Portugal as well as international clients who own Portuguese property or business. The team is supported by a network of local Certified Accountants, providing excellent and accurate services.
