Declaration des Revenus 2020- Coronavirus

We hope that all is well with you, and that you and your family are keeping well through these very difficult times.

The French government have introduced fiscal measures to help alleviate the financial difficulties caused by COVID-19 but these apply principally to French resident businesses.

We have not received any indication yet that the timetable for presenting the annual income tax returns for residents and non-residents this year has changed materially because of COVID-19. We are therefore working on the assumption that the online filing system will open in early-mid April and that the filing deadlines will be similar to last year.

We will post an update in early/ mid April when the Tax Office system opens online filing for the Declaration des Revenus 2019.

Please do stay safe there and let’s look forward to some happier times !
